Active cases of patients admitted in the inpatient wards of different US hospitals are presented to the interns by the preceptor(s). Pathophysiology, pharmacological management, and clinical diagnosis are discussed keeping in view the academic level of interns. Identities of patients are not disclosed for confidentiality (HIPAA Law). Interns are encouraged to actively participate in these discussions.
These online lectures will be delivered by the preceptor(s). These lectures have been tailor-made for medical students wishing to appear in USMLE exams and pursue US Residency in the future. During these lectures, the students will interact with preceptors and ask questions as well.
Rotating physicians prepare and present the cases (history, clinical diagnosis, laboratory workup, management plan, prognosis) before the entire class. Medical students are required to observe the session and actively participate in the QA section.
Rotating physicians are assigned clinical topics to be prepared and presented. These include a broad ranges of topics related to medicine and its allied specialties.
