On September 23, 2022, Chiraghdin Community Health Centre, Sialkot organized an awareness seminar to observe World Rabies Day. The seminar was aimed to raise awareness among people regarding Rabies.
Rabies is a deadly infectious disease that is transmitted through the bite of a rabid animal. It can be prevented and treated with timely action and care. The attendees were given a brief introduction about the disease, preventive & precautionary measures against the disease, and the possible repercussions if the treatment is delayed or ignored. The attendants were encouraged to take the necessary precautions and get their pets vaccinated (if any).
