On November 11, 2022, Chiraghdin Community Health Centre organized an awareness seminar to observe World Pneumonia Day. People from the local community attended the seminar.
The participants were briefed about Pneumonia, the causes of the virus, the modes of transmission, and its repercussions for children and adults. They were also guided about the symptoms of Pneumonia and the vitality to diagnose and treat the disease timely.
The participants were informed of the importance of pneumococcal vaccination and flu shots in preventing pneumonia which is also available in the facility, and they were encouraged to get vaccinated against Pneumonia.
