On February 24, 2023, an interactive public awareness seminar on Woman and Child Health was held in the Community Hall of the Chiraghdin Community Health Centre. Dr. Uzma Asif (Consultant Gynaecologist at Islam Center Hospital Sialkot) delivered a talk as the Chief Guest.
Participants were briefed on the center’s services and woman and child health clinical services. The seminar emphasized the importance of maternal health, nutrition, and regular healthcare visits before, during, and after pregnancy. Participants were also informed about child health and preventable illnesses, developmental milestones, and the importance of vaccinations. The seminar concluded with refreshments and the National Anthem.
A dedicated community engagement campaign also took place in which the staff distributed flyers in the neighboring union councils educating the public regarding the center and its services.
