The eligibility of blood donors & importance of blood donation was highlighted in the seminar and attendants were encouraged to donate blood regularly as it can save countless lives of patients suffering from different diseases.

Transfusion-Transmitted Infections (TTIs) were also highlighted in the event and patients were encouraged to adopt safe blood donation practices to prevent these infections which include HBV,HCV and HIV AIDS etc.
