An informative HPV vaccine awareness seminar was held on September 18, 2025, at CCHC, where local women from the community came together to learn about the importance of HPV vaccination.

During the seminar, participants were provided with comprehensive information about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and its potential risks, particularly the fact that HPV can lead to cervical cancer in women, a condition that can be life-threatening.

Additionally, attendees were educated about the HPV vaccine, including the recommended dosages for different age groups. Special emphasis was placed on the Punjab Government’s ongoing HPV vaccination program for girls aged 9-14, which runs from September 15 to September 27, 2025, in government schools.

The seminar aimed to address common misconceptions and myths surrounding the HPV vaccine, encouraging parents to take advantage of this important vaccination opportunity to protect their daughters’ health.
