On July 28, 2025, World Hepatitis Day was commemorated at the Chiraghdin Community Health Center (CCHC) with active participation from the local community.

Dr. Asad Bajwa & Dr Hameed ullah delivered the keynote address during an engaging and interactive awareness session. Participants were thoroughly informed about hepatitis and its types, modes of transmission, preventive strategies, vaccination, and available treatment options.

To promote safe health practices, sterile kits containing razors and nail cutters were distributed among community members, emphasizing the importance of using sterile personal grooming tools to prevent the spread of infection.

Following the session, an awareness walk was conducted through the local community.

During the walk, informational pamphlets were handed out, and participants addressed questions from the public to further raise awareness about hepatitis prevention and treatment.
